As for feet and inches, I prefer inches to centimeters, but I can easily convert. By the way, annual totals are typically expressed in just inches, not feet and inches (e.g. "250 inches", as opposed to "20 feet, 10 inches")
For me, I'd prefer a climate warm enough that it wouldn't get any snow. If I had to pick the total amount, probably 80-100 inches to maintain a decent winter wonderland landscape, without getting too extreme so as not to pile up too much.
I'll take feet please. I'm going through snow with drawl. We've barely had any for the last two years I'm hoping this next storm coming on Tuesday will give us enough of a dump to go sledding with the shorties.
Minimum 30 cm / 12" every winter for three solid months is enough (from 15th of November to 15th of February) with one week thaw in a middle of January (for variety).
30-50 cm it is optimum.
Zero for me. After the mess of the last big dump (1 inch) 2 winters ago, I would be happy not to see any more for another 25 years.
