So today is 23rd of march and my temperature will not exceed 1c with many areas in ni recording an ice day

So considering this cold is supposed to continue into the middle of april it would seem that our winter is nowhere near over.

So since this is not expected and a march ice day is rare. I was wondering what conditions uppers etc would be needed for an ice day in May?

Anyone recorded an ice day in may. What conditons were there?

Ice day - below 0.0c for 24 hours.
