But I'm very wary about the GHI readings (on Solargis). I cannot comprehend how Sydney is on par with the more northernmost cities (Memphis and Virginia Beach) in the southeast rather than those bordering the Gulf to the south. Therefore, I do not think that this measurement is the most accurate one to make comparisons when Sydney has higher UV rays and is sunnier than humid southeastern USA cities like New Orleans. Or am I missing something?
Oh and not to mention, Singapore and Sydney have the same GHI reading (4.4-ish), which would mean they would have similar sunshine hours - Except, they don't. Singapore only gets 2,000 hrs of sun annually, way far off than Sydney's 2600 hrs. So yeah, I don't think GHI readings correspond to actual sunshine hours.

Nice website anyway.

Anyone got numbers for Olympia, Wa? Only thing I've ever been able to find is heavily clouded days and partially clouded ones both of which Olympia has more of than Seattle. Which makes sense since it's further west closer to the coast and more outside the rain shadow than Seattle. Weird they don't have numbers for the states capital. I'd also be interested in knowing numbers for Bangor, ME just to see how a more central city in Maine compares to downstate in Portland but again, can't find any numbers.

My new station keeps track of sunshine and upon visually confirming its pretty good!

Here's a look at how much sun I've gotten since March 1st. 2.2hrs past 2 days.

Hard to get 3 full sunny days in a row (morning to evening) but we did it May 29,30,31.

Mid March-End of March was dismal. April looks ok but not consistent. May looks dismal too

Only 15 days with 6 hours+ since May 2nd

I'll let you analyze the rest.
