we have areas like that here too, but it looks nothing like american suburbia :P but they are nice too (except their price)
No, but again they are similar to the picture of the houses you commented on. Those in that pic didn't scream typical American suburbia to me... There are quite a few bigger more salubrious houses about which do actually look like more typical 'big' American type houses as well, hate to think how much those are worth!
The weather has improved here this afternoon, the sun has come out & the temperature has responded...

Housing is actually relatively cheap in the US compared to some other countries, especially Canada. Of course there are expensive areas.

Probably less than you think.. you get more bang for your buck in the US with regards to houses, whereas houses in the UK are very expensive and ranks as one of the most inflated housing markets in the world. Even cheaper cities in the UK would rank as more expensive in the US.
yeah the main difference is that these suburbs in america are actually affordable and to live like that in the UK u need to be well off (and you will still probably get a smaller house)
Well only if you move to London or somewhere like that. There are nice villages and small towns that have affordable houses.
they are still at least twice as expensive as america or probably 3 times as expensive is u compare american village to UK village
