The cookie cutter American suburbs built within the past 5-20 years look more soulless than that. I love brick homes. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of beautiful suburban areas in the US.

These are quite typical of the houses you see where my Mum lives in the suburbs of Portsmouth...

we have areas like that here too, but it looks nothing like american suburbia :P but they are nice too (except their price)

No you don't they are just boring standard suburban blocks, they are all the same. You need a bigger house with character.

Despite its bad weather Buxton has some of the best architecture in the UK. Some wonderful houses around here and great buildings.

Is that American? Looks heavily influenced by Spanish architecture if it is.
