Iqaluit has only 7740 people, OP wants settlements with 100k or more. With that requirement obviously Siberia is the place to look not North America.

Magadan used to have 155k people in 1991, and 100k in 2007. Between 2016 and 2018 it grew by 700 people, but then lost another 1,000 people in 2018, it’s current population in 2019 is 91,781. Maybe one day it will get back up to 100k, but so far doesn’t look to promising.
