I mistakenly thought Turku was in Sweden for some reason, although you're right, most Swedish climates have the same rapid cool down.

I knew about Turku because you explained it to me the other day after I asked you about it. It used to be the political capital of Finland (and now is considered to be the country's cultural capital?). It also has rivalries with Helsinki & the industrial city of Tampere. I just had a brief brain fart and accidentally placed it in Sweden.

Chester's just a medium sized town that isn't of any great significance in the wider scheme of things, I wouldn't expect many people outside of the UK to have heard of it.

I think the only globally famous people to come from Chester are Daniel Craig and Michael Owen

I'm kinda jealous of Dean York, he lives in a place that is very similar historically, but is just so much more significant!

Most famous residents from Turku are probably Mikael Agricola (father of Swedish and Finnish reformation, and founder of written Finnish), Jenni Dahlman (Kimi Räikkönen's ex wife), Paavo Nurmi (9-time olympic gold medalist), Darude (music producer), Catherine Jagiellon (16th century Queen of Sweden) and Niklas Moisander (captain of the Finnish National football team).
