It wasn't bad. In the sun it was still pretty warm, but I didn't sweat much. In the shade, it didn't really feel warm at all with the north wind blowing.

yeah, that's the nice difference, you can actually move a little without sweating and being a bug magnet.

Speaking of north winds..

busy map here. Dewpoints with the general flow of things.

Nice discussion from Jackson MS. They recommend jackets. lol and interestingly point out the body of water effects.

AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS
400 AM CDT SUN SEP 13 2015

.SHORT TERM... HARD TO GIVE ANY MORE SUPERLATIVES ABOUT THE KIND OF
DAY THAT IS ABOUT TO TRANSPIRE. HIGH PRESSURE AND AN UNSEASONABLY
COOL AIR MASS IN PLACE WILL DELIVER LIGHT TO MODERATE NORTHERLY
WINDS...SUNNY SKIES...LOW HUMIDITY AND HIGHS IN THE UPPER 70S TO
NEAR 80. OF COURSE THE MORNING WILL START OUT IN THE CHILLY 50S IN
MOST CASES SO THOSE WITH OUTDOOR PLANS JUST AFTER SUNUP SHOULD BRING
ALONG A JACKET.

INTERESTING (ALTHOUGH LOGICAL)THAT LOCATIONS
DOWNSTREAM OF LARGER BODIES OF WATER EARLY THIS MORNING ARE
DECIDEDLY WARMER THAN SURROUNDING AREAS AS MIXING OVER THE WATER
SURFACE HELPS KEEP WINDS FROM SHUTTING DOWN. BUT THE PRESSURE
GRADIENT IS RELAXING AS I WRITE...SO EVEN SOME OF THESE LATTER SPOTS
HAVE A CHANCE TO DROP OFF QUICKLY RIGHT BEFORE SUNRISE. A FEW AREA
RECORD LOWS STILL COULD BE SET AND WE WILL UPDATE WITH INFORMATION
ON ANY OF THOSE LATER THIS MORNING.

THIS EVENING THE PRESSURE GRADIENT IN THE LOWER LEVELS WILL BE NIL
AND ALLOW WINDS IN NEARLY ALL AREAS TO GO CALM QUICKLY...AND
TEMPERATURES WILL RESPOND BY TANKING QUICKLY AS WELL. TEMPERATURE
DROPS MAY HAVE A TENDENCY TO SLOW A GREAT DEAL LATE AT NIGHT
ALTHOUGH ULTIMATE LOWS BY MONDAY MORNING WILL STILL LIKELY BE NEAR
MARKS SET EARLY THIS MORNING. AS STATED PREVIOUS DISCUSSIONS...A FEW
AREA RECORD LOWS FOR MONDAY WILL NOT BE ENTIRELY OUT OF REACH
(MAINLY AT GLH/GWO/HBG).

The rain today brought back the dp to a very normal 16c, ending the dry week. With warm weather coming back this week (reaching 33c), we may reach 18-19c again (summer like level)

Last time Bridgeport was below 48° was June 7th! And here is Jackson MS at 40° in the afternoon on a sunny day. Pensacola Florida at 46°. Atlanta at 46°

Departures tell the story. INSANE! And Yes.. We're above normal here.
