Look at these Dewpoints! Where do I start?

Bridgeport 49°F?
NYC 50?
Pensacola 52?
Birmingham 50?
Nashville 54?
Mobile 56?

I looked back to 2005 only... Bridgeport never dropped below 48 end of July. Will they do it?? 5 hours left! What a rare feeling out there!!

Ridiculous & Typical. We only had one day max in the dry 50s during the "Cool Dry Fall Trough Jet Dip"

How about a look at why today? Here are the Dewpoints & the winds at 850mb level.

Moisture & Humidity right off the Atlantic Ocean... The Atlantic Ridge is Backing in Westward next few days.

Let me know if you want me to do a few more.. Give me some time.

A look at July 2014 dewpoints for some random locations.

Bridgeport more humid than Philly, Miami & Spokane Standout pretty good. (And Spokane had their 2nd warmest July on record since 1881)

The DP is approaching 65 F. Sweaty back effect begins, which means back to the days of revealing clothes .

When will we get consistent weather that complies with a little cover up.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm drooling over that MIA column.

The miserable dryness shows no sign of ending here. 84 dewpoint 59, every sliver of a chance for thunderstorms gets downgraded to partly cloudy.

Wonder why Fargo has lower max dewpoint than here, doesn't moisture come up from the Gulf?

Sorry.. I fixed the title after I posted that... those are the "Mean" Dewpoints. Let me know what other areas I should do. I had fun doing it.

I'll assume the Lake there helps keeps yours a bit higher but I'm assuming with data from just one month I guess. The flow should of been more NW for Fargo (as should of been for you)..so not sure. Less greenery around that Fargo site?

Maybe, I found it to be accentuated mostly after rain. That's what I was saying here, that day with 70 DP and water in the soil felt equally or more humid compared to a day when it was 75 and there was not yet a storm.
