How are the colors up there now? Are trees mostly bare?
Well I think the trees are pretty bare at my house, but I've been hiking in an area near my school (just outside of NYC). Colors are beautiful. Still quite a few leaves left, but some trees are bare.
Nice. Believe it or not some trees are changing here, though it's sporadic but it's noticeable in some spots. I'll try and take some pics though I only have a phone camera.
Looks like a nice, crisp night in Upstate NY, especially loving the low teens temperatures

Forecast to drop down to 20 F/-7 C here.
Look at Saranac Lake (always a sweet spot for cold weather):
Lucky, we're only getting to 40 F tonight, but that's still not bad for us. Is 20 F close to a record low for you guys today?
And damn, 9 F tomorrow night in Saranac Lake? This is pretty good for an early season cold snap
Only 1 F above the record (19 F). Loving this cold weather. I would love to experience a frigid cold November. Single digits by the end of the month? One can dream.
