logged -4.1C outside my house this night. extremly cold.
kalmar had -4.2C (coldest there since 1965)
skara had -4.2C (coldest there since 1978)
ullricehamn had -6.0C (coldest there since 1967)
actually, there was an even more impressive reading than these ones.
Vänersborg had -3.7C this night (coldest there since 1899 when the may record -5.0C was set)

That's extremely cold for May.
Right now its also very cold in Eastern Germany with current temperatures being only about 3-6°C some parts have even seen rain mixed with snow this morning. Berlin for example only had 5.0°C and rain at 2 PM.
If the clouds disappear after dark, then i wouldn't be too surprised if widespread light frost will occur in those parts overnight.
23c and partly sunny at 15:05 with giant cumulonimbus clouds building up on the east and coming here, for the 6th day in a row. About 50 - 60 mm of rain is expected over the weekend and today.
