The most recent storm in the Delaware County Area from Middletown to just above Chadds Ford defined powerful storm. I drove and seemingly missed some of the dangerous things falling all over the County. Even though I missed much I still witnessed some amazing demonstrations of the power of the storm. The first indication that you might consider cover was when a steel chair was flung from a porch it had been setting and blew into the street like it was made of paper. The veil of rain made it most impossible to travel and you sensed the urgency of getting where you planned to go. All this said the real marvel was the contrast existing after the storm. I am sure that others noted after a storm last year the greenish/blue hue of the landscape making it seem to be a setting from out of this world. The most recent storm brought on a hue that was Red and it was not imagined it was a clear reddish hue to the surroundings. I have lived for 70 years and these two events were marvels to my eyes. I am just wondering if you live in Delaware County if you may recall the most recent event and the one passed several months ago and have and explanation as to how the very defined color difference are caused to occur.
