its this very cold Canadian air system that is sweeping by. Here in LA the high temps will be in the mid to low 60s, while the lows in the low 40s! Now in LAs Vegas which has much lower winter temps than us its understandable that it can get that cold.
Cold? What cold? the temperature hasn't fallen below 21c(70f) for the past 3 days even at night and it looks like it won't for quite sometime.

Melbourne isn't cold by any means, even its Winters are warm.
Melbourne has a **** climate. Look up the current forecast for cities and towns in Australia on the BOM website then come back to me.
Both its summers and winters look very warm to me, nothing remotely cold there.
