50% is nothing. You basically see the sun for a full day every other day. Still an exaggeration.

Boone is a solid A- climate, probably the best in the eastern USA. Good find.

So many rain lovers here. Denver won this competition easily. The winters in Denver feel much warmer, and the strong deviation from average temperatures combined with low humidity levels due to elevation results in several winter days that are very comfortable, while still allowing for the presence of cold and snow that marks the winter season.

I find the climates are practically tied. I think that I'll give the edge to Boone due to more precipitation, but a bit less snow than Denver.

both are very interesting climates, though.

Boone, if for no other reason than the pizza they serve at Murphy's on King Street.....lol. Best pizza I think I've ever had. I just hope the owner doesn't calculate his food cost, otherwise the price will be going up.

Boone is REALLY nice in the spring and summer. The winter fog is a bit odd -- I got to experience that a few times when my son was in school at ASU.

Denver for being drier, sunnier and having warmer daytime highs in the summer.
