You can see most of Paris in two days, same with most European cities.. I normally like spending longer there though so that I can relax instead of rush around

How on earth could you afford America for 3 months if you have no job? That would cost £1000 for flights alone, then another few thousand for accommodation, food etc..

Most people I know go on holidays every single year so I don't consider myself lucky, I always look at the rich and think that i'm poor.
Your certainly not poor you should try living on £200 a month.
I'm actually glad my family couldn't afford luxurious holidays.. or holidays at all most years. Going on holiday with your family is boring, and you're stuck in some boring hotel. I much prefer traveling alone or with friends so we can see and do more. Plus, it's fun to explore cities or countries off the beaten track.. there are some rather shady areas of Paris worth exploring if you like that sort of thing, lol.
£200 for three months in America..? What is that based on because if that was true I would be going there straight away.
Lol, never going to happen. There is nowhere that cheap here, a decent weekly rental is $200 a week minimum

My parents only go on holidays like twice a year... I would like to go every few months long haul e.g dubai, Caribbean etc.. So that is why I want to go myself..
Owen, I don't know if you are aware, but Canada has Working Holiday Visas for Brits? The US has nothing of the sort, so you can count the US out, but go to Canada. It's right next to us anyway, and almost the same country but it just has more comforts of the UK. Toronto is where you want to be.
Hell, even England is fantastic. The weather is much better, too. London is amazing, but way too cramped for my tastes. Don't knock England until you've tried it. It has most of everything that the US has, including huge theme parks. Thorpe Park is great, I've been there before. My brother-in-law has been to Alton Towers as well. England has a lot of the same things that we do as well, the weather is the only difference.
But, it also sounds like you caught the bug to go longhaul. Why not go to Australia on a Working Holiday?
But you'll still have to pay for spending money, food, accomodation and travel within the US. So will probably need £2,800 or so.
