You're talking about most people in the UK. I rather doubt most British are flying for routes 200-250 miles.

OK, a crown dependency. You don't need a passport to get there anyway.
The point is, MOST people use a train or drive when travelling within the UK.

Owen is once again making a statement for the whole of the UK based on his personal opinion.

Most people do not fly within the UK. I most certainly don't fly the 150 mile journey from my home to university, nor the 150 mile journey to my Nan. I also definitely did not fly the 300 mile journey when my sister was at university in Durham.

The data above that Owen shows has no relevance to this argument.. the increase in passengers tells us nothing about where they are flying to.

Don't accuse others of being dumb when you're not even posting anything relevant. Those numbers don't support the argument. They're just airport volume figures, with no indication of where of what % of medium distance trips are done by flying

So 1.3 million people isn't enough? I hope you are aware the highest route numbers in the United States of America are 1.5 million so 1.3 million is an exceptional number.

The number is irrelevant, those aren't route numbers.

This is not meant as a personal attack Owen, but you are posting data that has absolutely no relevance to the statement in question You managed to get decent A levels by the sound of it, but you won't be able to get a decent degree if you can't piece meaningful evidence to a statement that you make.
