warmest water i've swum in was 35 c in the shallow gulf waters on marco island. it is not something I plan on doing again water that hot makes you want to faint when swimming in it and takes away all your energy. 28-30c is perfect but anything higher than 32c and I won't go in.

Not an ocean but I've swum in Lake Retba, Senegal which is probably above 40°C.

Low 80's (28C-ish), maybe even slightly warmer, in between Long Island and it's barrier islands, it felt like stepping into a bathtub, or urine. It was very comfortable though.

It was noticeably warmer than anything I've felt at the real beaches along the barrier islands of Long Island and New Jersey, where the water temperature is generally somewhere in the 70's, occasionally around 80F. Not even the VA/NC beaches felt as warm.

The one in Spain. It was like 25c.

I did not get in the water at Jupiter because there were stingrays.

It felt like the water here which was cold. It did not feel like a bath at all, I would love to actually experience proper warm ocean water.
