Inland south-eastern Australian climates are known for their cool summer lows (or high diurnal ranges).

Any idea how much snowfall they average per winter there? Judging from the averages I'd guess several inches.

Orange in the CBD probably gets up to 4 or 5 falls a year, but settling snow is not that common in town, Mt Canoblas just out of town and at 1400m asl does much better, and gets the westerly cold fronts and moisture.
