B. Too cool and too consistent. I need warmth into the 80s at least part of the year. But those are pretty pleasant temperatures. Would never require much more than a jacket although on the sea I imagine wind will make those 50s rather chilly.
A- for me. Too dry is the main problem, and summer maximums could be a little warmer. Comfortable temperatures year though. Warm enough for bananas and citrus, so warm enough for me.

I'm very surprised at those cool summer temperatures (It is cooler than the Azores! How is it possible?). I thought that Sagres' climate was similar to Faro or Cascais.
It's too dry and sunny.
But temperature wise it's exceptionally comfortable year round (although I prefer much colder winters and slightly warmer summer highs).

Many capes in the portuguese coast have these temperatures, 20/22ºC maxes in summer, as they are surrounded by the cold atlantic by many fronts, plus during summer time the west coast usually receives strong NW winds. //www.city-data.com/forum/35090982-post783.html
5km inland and the average may very well be 3 or 5ºC warmer.
