I would guess hwy 3 near Cranbrook, but not entirely sure. I've only ever been over there once before.

The climb up to the summit of Hwy 99 has the 2nd most vertical rise of any hill in BC. The only hill that is higher is hwy 20 out of Bella Coola...

This is my favorite image of the week. Left me starring and wondering about a bunch of things. Awesome pic. I miss every road being a dirt road (I believe I was around in the 1800s). Sunlight has nothing on dirt! lol

Beautiful pics What's the elevation at the top?

The landscape looks a lot drier than I would expect for the BC - does the snow get nice and deep in winter up there?

Wow, almost a desert. Must be east of the divide - I'd like to see what the west side looks like...lol.
