Yep, that's pretty much a typical summer. A 26C day can make the news.

The sea breeze is a constant for about half the year. Although I should point out, that is the temperature almost right at the beach, and totally exposed to the sea.

Looks like Buxton gets the coldest summers in the Northern Hemisphere (apart from perhaps Iceland).

I really need to move somewhere else even if it's just down into the Midlands.

Thats not true.

This forum has no members from any other northern place in the NH to justify that judgement.

How are "summer" and "hot" days defined where you live?

Probobly every single day from mid April. Days here in PhoeNix start to average above 25c in march and end in November. 30c starts in April and ends in October. And June July and August are above 40C
