They don't give Canadian data for 1 mm, but they do list the number of days with >=0.2mm, >=5mm, >=10mm, and >= 25mm.
for >=5 mm, my province varies from 11 days in Telegraph Creek to 174 days on the central coast (Boat Bluff lighthouse).
For >=0.2 mm, my province varies from 59 days in Kleena Kleene to 261 days on the northern tip of the Queen Charlotte Islands (Langara).
P.S. You are talking strictly rain, and not precipitation?

Well, in that case:
>= 5mm varies in BC from 16 days/year in Kamloops to 178 days/year in Boat Bluff.
>= 0.2 mm varies in BC from 79 days in Spences Bridge to 269 days in Langara.
