Predict your location's coldest daytime high and coldest nighttime low this winter (2014-2015). They can be but don't necessarily have to come on the same day.

My location: Mission Viejo, CA

I predict my coldest daytime high will be 53 F and it will come in January during a strong cold front with rain on and off the whole day.

I predict the coldest night will be 34 F and it will the night after the cold front has passed the skies have cleared completely allowing radiational cooling and temperatures to drop near freezing.

I'm not expecting a cold winter with the way 2014 has been, but we should still be able to get something like -0.8 / -6.2C.

haha, seems that I may have the coldest winters among the European posters as other north-European posters have kinda stronger oceanity in their climates and posters from Russia who could be potentially very good in that don't post in the weather forum although post in some other city data forums. Among the our forum posters Max96 from eastern Ukraine may also have some chances. Very probably no rivalry in Europe to JetsNHL, though.
But to predict something is complicated as winters are even more impredictable here than other seasons, imho. My really blind guess would be coldest high as -17c, coldest low -30c. Let's wait and see.
