Which is more livable?

A) A tropical climate without AC

Hot, humid summers like Bangkok, Miami, or Acapulco. Some have comfortably mild winters while others stay hot year round.

or

B) An oceanic climate without heating (central or space heating)

Chilly, overcast, damp and drizzly 9 months a year with a little bit of snow in winter but comfortable summers like Seattle, London, Paris.

Tropical all the way
I don't really care about having AC when I am in a hot and humid tropical place

What do you mean "heating"? Do you exclusively mean like thermostat type heating? A furnace? Do you include fireplaces as heating?

Either way, I'd say an Oceanic climate without heating. Tropical climates get very hot for extended periods of time. Ocean climates don't even get that cold and most of the year is mild enough that there's no need for heating OR AC. Also, you can just bundle up on a few layers to keep warm. You gotta be creative to keep cool in a tropical place without AC. At least when you're living there. Those visiting are probably going to be at the beach or pool anyway :P

Definitely tropical climate without A/C. As long as i had a good oscillating fan, I'd be fine

Oceanic, I'd say. Easier to keep warm in winter I think, just keep the fire going. But, speaking from experience without living in A/C, tropical climates are very livable too, even wthout a fan, Deneb

Oceanic without heating is more livable, especially if we have cities like Kiama and Wollongong.

Not to mention, you can easily wear extra layers to keep warm.

For tropical you have to sleep in a cool bathtub in those humid nights. So hell no...

(A) but a milder oceanic climate with a space heater would be fine. The less intense tropical climates are really easy to live without A/C if the construction is designed for it. As I mentioned before, half of Honolulu households don't have A/C, and part of the airport is open air.

An oceanic climate without heating would be far easier, bar winter cold snaps.

If we compared London to Miami, I would say Miami without a/c by far is more liveable

Seattle without heat sounds miserable in the winter. There's not much sun, so no outside heat source. Average daily temperatures are around 41°F / 5°C. Maybe with good insulation and people / cooking you could raise to the high 40s. It's doable, but not fun.
