Well that explains it! LOL. The US takes measurements every 3 hours and the wiki chart displays the means from them all. I might have given some Australian climates higher ratings if I knew that.
Brisbane of course, the warm/hot rainy summer is the winning factors. This cities have also a very nice amount of sunshine hours (and a perfect amount of rainfall) with pleasant dry winter. If the summer was hotter, I gave it a A.
In my opinion, there is no climate in the earth who can beat the humid subtropical climate (or the continental climate with long, hot and humid summer).

The summer up there is plenty hot, and plenty long. (try about 7 months of it).
Have to go with Adelaide, much more chance of cooler nights for most of the year, despite it's reputation for heatwaves in summer.
Brisbane has nice summers overall, although the dew point falls below 20C too often.
Adelaide is atrocious.
