The climate of my homecity is continental like the most cities in North Greece. It is dry with only approximately 455 mm of rain per year and 93 precipitation days. Snow falls on average 7 days per year. Snow cover usually does not last more than a few days. Winters are relatively cold, damp and dry with common frosts. Summers are hot and dry with occasional thunderstorms. The absolute maximum temperature ever recorded is 45 C in July 2007 and the absolute minimum is -23 C probably at January 1963.

Cool winters and low sunshine hours lower it to a B- for me. Summers look fantastic.

I actually rated it an "E" because: good sunshine hours, not extremely dry (overall) and not extremely dry summers

I don't like it at all, though.

I forgot to mention that from late spring through early autumn we can have heavy thunderstorms occasionally with much precipitation! Here is a video of one of the heaviest thunderstorms that I remember in our city at September 2009.

Summers are too hot and too sunny overall. While warmer than ideal, winters look refreshingly pleasant.

Yes we have very hot summers. In recent years are warmer than this table. Winters are normal but there is a variation between years. Some of them are very cold and others are mild.
