All I know is I am going from Beaufort Sc to Morris county NJ thru this... I'm either leaving at five tonight (taking 77 and 81 wouldn't be caught dead in 95) and stopping over in Staunton VA (7 hrs 15 min with no delays) then finishing the drive thanksgving morning (approx 5.5 to 6 hours)
As I see it I'm missing the storm both days this way and coming in thru the VA mtns with snow after the plows and bulk of traffic is done (id be hitting the VA line at 930 if leaving sc at 5). Is this complete idiocy or should I be relatively spared,
Other option is leave at 2am tomorrow morning and book it in one haul... 13 hours. That'd be a little rough though.
Anyway if ANYONE has insight into this scenario please do say so

A lot of snow is expected in Morris County, but the roads should be clear by tomorrow since the storm is ending tonight. Could be some icy spots though.
Got out of my slippers and in to my muck boots to take actual (vs eyeball) measurements. The prediction was 2 to 4 inches and I just measured 5" so it can stop any time now. We have enough, thank you very much.
ps: I checked out the PING site and would love to add info for my location but it seems that it can't be done that from a desktop computer. I could be wrong about that but I'm such a techno-peasant that if it can be done I wasn't able to figure out how.
