Well the next two weeks will be mild here according to GFS, but in most years there is very often a wintry phase before and just after christmas, so i will count on that.

Christmas
Christmas eve: 3 / 1°C overcast, light drizzle
Christmas Day: 2°C/ -1°C, cloudy in the morning, becoming more sunny later
Boxing Day: 1°C/ -5°C, sunny first, then increasing clouds and light snowfall in the evening.

New Year
New Years eve: -3°C / -6°C, mix of clouds and sunshine, light snowshowers in the afternoon.
New Year: -4°C /-9°C, sunny/clear and dry

X Mas day: 6/5C rainy
New Year's Eve: -20C/-25C clear skies
New Year's Day 1C/-20C clear skies turning to overcast

Given how mild the rest of the year has been we'll probably have the mildest Christmas on record or a repeat of what we had two years ago:

I won't be that bothered if it doesn't snow, because even if we don't have another White Christmas for 5-10 years I'll still have seen my fair share for this climate.
