At least London gets a few sunny and reasonably warm days every summer. Northern UK (Glascow, Dublin) and any subarctic climate is much worse.
I'd think the coldies would like London over a tropical climate because at least it gets a little bit of snow in winter.
I think San Francisco would be the climate that would get nothing above of a C from any of the weather forumers. No summer warmth for warm sunshine lovers and no snow or even frost for winter lovers. Unusable beaches where windy and foggy and 55 F in July which felt colder to me than sunny and 30 F with no wind in January at Big bear. No thunderstorms or any type of exciting weather phenomenon either.
From San Francisco, though, you only have to go 25 miles to Redwood City.. the lower peninsula has one of the mildest and most pleasant climates in the world.
Paris has a warmer winter than London by a fraction of a degree. The average Dec-Feb temp for Paris is 5.37C and 5.33C for London.
No it doesn't, the data on Wikipedia is for the centre of Paris, which you are comparing to Heathrow on the outskirts of London. Heathrow's winters are about 2c warmer than Orlys, LWC winters are about 2c warmer than Montsouris.
You want to look at the climate box below the Heathrow one if you want a fair comparison against Montsouris.
