Favourite is Af or Am with a short/not too dry season, preferably slightly cooler than typical due to either moderate altitude near the equator (think Medellín or Ibague) or ocean influence in the outer tropics (Cairns, parts of Hawaii).

Least favourite by far are polar and high altitude ice cap and tundra climates, followed by arid ones.

Favorite: Cfa, Csa, Cwa, preferably relatively moderate ones that still retain some seasonal variation such as Rome, Naples, Tirana, Buenos Aires, etc.

Least favorite: EF, ET, Dfd, Dsd, Dwd, Dfc, Dsc, Dwc, etc.

My favorite climate types are Cfb (much of France and NZ), Csb (i.e. Porto or Santa Cruz and many PacNW climates) and marine-moderated Dfa (i.e. Boston)-- overall I prefer an oceanic climate with some Mediterranean and some alpine and continental influence. Many Cwb climates (i.e. Shimla) aren't bad either.

My least favorite types are Af/Aw/Am (will make a slight exception for very mild tropical highland climates), Bwh and Bsh (the Sahel ), and ET/EF/Dxd/Dxc.

Least fav. Humidity humidity humidity! Unless vacationing. Also don't like extreme heat.
This would be the climate of a city like Vienna, Austria. Winters are like the Mid-Atlantic states where it’s just cold enough to have normal snowfall, while summers are much more comfortable than the US East Coast

I prefer San Francisco’s climate and the microclimates of the Sierra where you can drive to Desert from coastal. I also like cool oceanic climates.

I like Polar and subarctic Summer so I don’t flat out hate it. And I like the extreme of Verkhoyansk during summer and testing the -60 degree winter but not being stuck there indefinitely.

My least favorite climate would have to be The monotonous heat/humidity of Florida summers
