A look at the storm over Fairfield County CT from Long Island Webcam. http://wx.somassbu.org/DATA/HSC/WX-HSC.php

Nice height building on it. Almost looks like a shelf cloud trying to form?

I wonder if it will strengthen once it gets to Long Island sound. I see that happen a lot.

Thunder letting up.

It's weakening maybe getting torn apart from the sea breeze?. LOL

Or it could be Pulsing. Storms do that. They pulse up and down.

The weather is so boring here, I've decided to stop paying attention to it.

Daily thunderstorms haven't started yet or they don't excite you?

Haven't started yet. I don't think I've seen such a late start to wet season here. Usually starts about mid-May.

Seems like since late February we've had the same weather over and over again. Just warm and dry. Boring as hell.

Winds picking up here. I'm watching the easternmost storm die out until I can get a good view of the western (Fairfield) storm, it looks much more impressive on radar, I just hope it stays that way.

Would be so cool to actually have views around here.

Low clouds are moving into the storm. Some have vertical motion.

Just missed a lightning bolt from straight ahead

I'm hoping that all that rain over the south would move farther east towards the Atlantic. May has been pretty dry over here in eastern Georgia so far.

Radar Loop past 6 hours (12:45-6:30pm) Frame every 15 minutes.

Cool to see the storms form in the Hudson valley, move Eastward, then watch the shift towards the coast as the front comes in

Thunder stopped before and I got a nice 0.10" rain shower.
