It's been dry in New England the last couple of months. Pattern may change in a month. You should get a decent snowfall in December.

Yup. I'm supposed to get between 1 and 2.5" of rain from tonight through Saturday. That's a good thing, considering we've only had 0.90" so far this month.
Also, the first sub-75 high of the fall is likely. We may even fail to hit 70 on Friday.

I think the rain is supposed to start earlier for people in to my east.

It was 73 F just after midnight last night. That will probably end up being our high today. This afternoon is not expected to get above 70 F.

I love it when lows form off the coast of SC in autumn and just sit there. Brings us much cooler than average weather and some rain!

That's nothing compared to what they're getting in North Carolina. LOL

Tis the Season. That time of year storms start to develop on both land and water and the average strength gets stronger heading into Winter.

qpf forecast next 2 days. http://www.erh.noaa.gov/gis/images/SE_QPF.png Congrats Mid Atlantic for getting rain.. We're dry in CT but nothing extreme at all. Bridgeport with 1.59″ this month, only 0.81″ below normal. Hartford 2.43″ this month which is right at normal.

10am it's 72° at Bridgeport already. Tired of having 70s in the morning.

Henry mentions the storm in his daily video blogs. He gets on hurricane Center for not even putting a Depression on the storm. But he mentions the buoys and winds with it. He goes into the forecast for the U.S.

I know you don't like how dry they get in the summer, but really, this really helps me appreciating more Australian humid subtropical climates more than their North American counterparts. The latter have too many temperature swings.
