Did someone see the Perseids meteor shower last night? It was really beautiful, we had thankfully a clear sky

Edit: nevermind, I see this already has been discussed

Isn't darkness good for spotting such things?

PGA Championship starts today. I think Whistling Straits is an awesome course, so that does make me want to watch it more.

When will we be able to get a decent August again? This is also after the poor end to July
Reminds me of August 2009, every day was very close to average with no hot days or extremes of anything, as well as being much cloudier than normal.

This August so far

I have chafing in my armpits, and now it's impossible to apply deodorant there.

And I'm a big geography nerd also I've read that York, PA is really crime-ridden.

As with almost all public benefits in the US there is massive abuse. There should be a 5 year time limit on this benefit. Why should hard working taxpayers subsidize the rent of people for their entire lives. It's stupid. After 5 or at most 10 years you should be booted out if you didn't work to make your life better. They could start by only having one child and put all their resources into that child. That is rarely the case I see around here. Section 8 has destroyed many a decent neighborhood in Philadelphia. And many times the children living in Section 8 terrorize other children in the neighborhood.
