I'm a right-wing populist, but definitely not an American patriotard. I reject American exceptionalism.
Right-wing populism is very lacking in mainstream representation in this country. Some of our flawed ideals seem to conflict with it. Actually, Donald Trump is about the closest to a right-wing populist you'll ever get when it comes to mainstream American politicians.

If the Donald really got in, do you think he'd undo some of the harmful "free trade" deals which have shipped so many good jobs overseas?
Yes, I do consider myself slightly "right" of center.
Remember that "political compass" test?
I was roughly 1.3 right/0.7 liberatarian.
However I believe most of my peers (the upcoming generation of voters) are at least slightly leftist which does not bode well for the GOP who are over reliant on the senior citizens of our nation.

He's spoken out about that. I hope he would. He said Mexico and China are killing us in trade. Their leaders are smarter than ours.
Check out that interview he gave where he said he'd win the Latino vote. I can find it later when I get hope, but it should be on YouTube. It's twenty some minutes long. Shouldn't be too hard to find.
