Yep. And the red chili dip is popular in Thailand, known as nam chim kai.

I made Ariete's pidgin spaghetti stew today. It's yummy and really easy to do.

- minced meat
- mashed tomatoes flavoured with spices of your choosing
- 1 large or 2 smaller onions
- 1 bell pepper
- garlic
- frozen peas
- tomato paste
- herbs

Fry the meat, onions and garlic for a while, then put the spiced mashed tomatoes in (let the sauce simmer for 4 hours at least, for example do it with your morning coffee before going to work, then put it in the fridge). After that put the peppers while searing the whole thing on small heat. Cook the spaghetti so that it is very al dente or semi raw. Here you add the tomato paste (into the spaghetti bowl) and throw the pasta into the meat. But obviously don't discard all of the tomate paste spaghetti water, but put some of it in the meat, otherwise it will be very dry. After doing that add the peas. Finally throw a lot of herbs on the whole sh*t 2 minutes before serving.

Very good.

For some reason I've notice that if I use penne, I overcook it seriously. So for that reason I prefer spaghetti, easier to monitor in this case.

I find it quite funny, the past few days have been very mild, it reached 16C today and it has been higher in recent days, yet people still wear scarves, coats and hats just because it's November.

I wore a coat to university today and had to take it off on the 30 minute walk in because it was too 'warm'

Yeah, I can't understand why people overdress, just because of the "season." I don't understand why people overdress so much anyhow, in any climate.

I'm still wearing my shorts - if it turns out to be a mild winter, I might just be wearing them in January...lol.
