Don't get too complacent. You fell to -19F in February.

Now I'm really curious to see if Cambium's place will hit 70 F on Thursday. When was the last time Bridgeport or Danbury had a 70 F+ day in December?

My forecast is still showing a balmy 83 F.

IDK if we will though. The high for Bridgeport is 18°C.

The folks on ESPN this morning reporting out of Connecticut were talking about the potential for 70 degree weather tomorrow (unlike Cambium, the reporters seemed happy about it). I'm going to be checking results on wunderground tomorrow evening to see if I can pick out the cities there that hit the benchmark.

We have an extreme climate. Some people here like to only focus on one side of that.

It's probably going to be warmer on my birthday this year than it was on my dad's birthday. It was 68/61 F (20/16 C) on that day. Forecast for my birthday is 69/57 F (21/14 C). The day after is 75/64 F (24/18 C)!

My dad's birthday is June 2nd. My birthday is December 25th. I live at about 36 degrees north latitude.

Average for June 2nd: 82/63 F (28/17 C)
Average for Dec. 25th: 48/31 F (9/-1 C)

She says she'll give me some dough to play with.. but it's not a certainty any of the ones I make will be presentable for the family. That's fair enough, I guess. There's always a surplus number of perogies we keep, and perogies will be for dinner tomorrow too, as always. So if any of mine turn out poorly, i'll just eat those...
So far, so good with the perogies. My first dozen or so we're too bad. Cooked them up, ate a few that didn't make the cut, and thought I could do better. I was flattening the dough a bit too much. Taking a break now, but the next dozen or so I then made look pretty much like my mother's. For sure, I've made plenty that are presentable to the family tomorrow.

Well, if your main focus point is tender gardening, it makes sense.
