Wrapped my present for my brother - a small lamp shaped like a piston.

actually planning on putting an air conditioner back in my window (but a different unit - not the same one that I use from May to September & remove due to stinkbugs in late September), which I anticipate i will need for 2 straight nights (23rd-24th & 24th-25th). could sleep in the basement, but i ****ing hate that. & don't want to do it those 2 nights, worst ****ing 2 nights for it. f*ck warm weather.

I've been dating a girl for the past two and a half months, I went to her house yesterday which is about an hour away from here and had to meet her parents It was either that or I wouldn't have seen her for 5 weeks seeing as she goes to a different uni and came to visit 2 weeks ago, and I'm now on Christmas holidays until 11th January. God I hate meeting parents and it seemed a bit early on, but I guess we are 'official' now, and she wants to come and visit me next week now

I haven't even told my parents about her, this is going to be embarrassing.. I can't wait to move out and have my own house/apartment to avoid awkward situations like this!

Wow, this place is a bargain.

1 bedroom flat to rent in Well House Avenue, Leeds, LS8, LS8

It's in a desirable area too. There must be a catch.

Why are you embarrassed by your girlfriend?

I believe the catch is the sub-50 F (10 C) highs that sometimes occur in May and the sub-50 F (10 C) lows that happen throughout the summer, as well as the near-total lack of temperatures above 77 F (25 C)

Not embarrassed of her, I wasn't really labelling her as my girlfriend yet as I had only seen her a few times, more just the whole meeting parents thing
