Exactly. If someone is religious but they're overall a good person then they're cool with me. It's when people follow it passionately and feel the need to bring it up all the damn time that it's annoying. Also when violence occurs over religious differences it makes me question the sanity and intelligence of the human race.

Honestly, atheists can be really evil as well. It's not a matter of religion, it's a matter of human behaviour. Some people are (mostly) good, some people are (mostly) bad, but most people are (mostly) bad. The problem is that religious people use their "Gods word" as an excuse to their evil behaviour, while atheists cannot use that (they use "mental disorders" as an excuse). I don't like religion, and if the world was without it, would be much better. The problem is also that people get really sensitive when talking about religion, when in fact it's not much different than if someone says "I hate hugs, hugs are really bad", to me. I certainly wouldn't get angry or something, I'll just accept his opinion, he doesn't like hugs, I do, okay, it ends there, I'm still a good friend with him, exactly like before. For some reason, it doesn't happen if you say that to a religious person, replacing the world "hug" with "God". I wonder how, I wonder why, they told me about their "tolerance", but all that I can see, it's just hate.
A little bit extreme -how many have to die at the hands of the state, to bring this about?
I'm against capital punishment. Killing is never the right thing to do. However, if religion brainwashes a person to hate some kind of people, or to have dangerous ideas, I'm for rehabilitation.

If the state tries to "rehabilitate" me from personnel beliefs that I wish to share with others, then it will be me doing the killing.

I don't think you got it. There's (almost) nothing wrong if you believe in a God, in a supernatural entity, or even in a potato. I don't care. The problem starts if you hate people because they like something else than you do, or declare a war unto others, going as far as using weapons. If you keep it to yourself, what's wrong? If you become dangerous to other people, the problem is found, don't you think?
