Desert, tropical. Subtropical highland climates. We can get more specific than that if you want and break those main varieties up.

I'm not being a dick, asking only of curiosity. Where in the US can you find a subtropical highland climate?

Tropical we don't have in Europe, but a small portion of Southern Spain is a desert, for example Tabernas.

Hawaii if you count states. Puerto Rico if you include territories. Though neither of those are connected to the mainland.

It doesn't matter. They are still domestic flights, no customs involved and no roaming for mobile phones.

Tabernas has a semi arid climate to be exact

Desert Climates Areas in Europe:

Coastal Strip around Almeria:
Cabo de Gata has a yearly average precipitation of 156mm(1961-1990), Almeria airport has 200mm(1981-2010)
Valores climatológicos normales: Almería Aeropuerto - Agencia Estatal de Meteorología - AEMET. Gobierno de España
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabo_d...and_vegetation

Atyrau (Yes it's still in Europe on the border between Europe and Asia to be exact.)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atyrau

--------------------------

Subtropical Highland Climates can be found in French Oversea Departments.
CLIMAT %%% - Informations, normales et statistiques sur le climat à La Réunion

Imo they don't count just like Hawaii and Puerto Rico don't count

Reunion is not geographically Europe, but neither is Hawaii geographically Part of North America

Mainland USA does have Tropical Climates, Europe doesn't.

The fact is that a very large proportion of the US has cold winters not to my liking, and areas that have mild winters generally have summers that are too humid and hot for my liking (coastal south)

Only the west coast south of California is really suited to me, therefore for me Europe is much better in terms of my preferences
