Denver has to be up there for most unique climate. It's crazy bi-polar. Today it was in the low 70's. Over the next 3 days they could get a foot of snow with high's in the 20's for two days. It's not uncommon for it to be 65 on New Year's and snow on Mother's day. After doing a brief search the closest thing I could find is Tabriz Iran, but I think it's a tad drier and not as bi-polar.

Not an exact match, but Almaty, Kazakhstan is pretty close. They can even see snow in May, similar to Denver, despite an average high of 72°F

Out of provincial capitals in Turkey,

Kayseri has the most similar average temperatures as Denver but Kayseri has no such absurdness that Denver is having, even though averages are smilar.

Kayseri, Turkey is much closer to Denver based on averages temperatures.

Diurnal temperature range is pretty low in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Almaty gets those swings from average that Denver gets including May snow

Simferopol is pretty close (though too warm in winters and too wet)

Also - Sarmiento (too warm and too dry)
