I'll take April through November in that climate. Love the t'storms but you can keep the winters. I'll see if I can create a gif animation for my ideal climate. Which software program did you use?
I drew them on MS Paint, believe it or not. I made them last year and decided recently to synch it up with audio.

Nice, I thought you downloaded some sort of animation software. I'm impressed that you did it all just using MS paint: did you draw everything in each frame free hand or did you use any clip art?

I drew everything. No clip art. It involved a process of creating base backgrounds like for example "leafless base" or "snow base 1" (because of the variety of snow depths) and changing things like the clouds, grass and leaf colour and adding little animals. All the animals were drawn on a file and were placed accordingly to the scene.

You are a gifted artist. I can barely draw a stick figure so I'll have to use clip art for my scenes.
I now understand why this is perplexing to the French as I did some research.
It seems that this insect does not venture that far into the north of France.
So it's very associated with the south of country (pays des cigales and all that jazz).
The distinctive ''song'' of this insect is entrenched in the minds of the French as something that is very typical of the south.
It's really only there that you hear it.
