Maybe. Harder to get humid heat in September but it could be nice.

In 2013 the last day of August reached a 77F dewpoint followed by a shelf cloud and CG lightning. Legendary.

You guys are now pushing past your record for longest stretch of 90 degree days.

August 8th saw a high of 89 F in Statesboro. If it weren't for that, it would have been continuous 90 F or higher days since July 1st.

Savannah has seen continuous 90 F or higher since June 21st. Even earlier this month when it was raining there, they would still manage to hit 90 F sometime during the day. It's just insane.

Now that you think about it, I haven't seen Cambium post in days. Seems eerily odd without him on the weather forum.

He did act rather erratically when he was going through that "heatwave" of his. I imagine he'll at least be back once the first cold blast of the fall season is forecast for the northeast, whenever that is.

He seems rather weak-minded. A few days of hot and humid weather and he loses his mind he wouldn't survive even a month down here. Even though he makes it seem like CT is more oppressive than down here because of the "clay soil" and "lack of wind"...

Heatwave? What heatwave? Barely noticed it. I guess it "helps" to be preoccupied with other things...
