Was it actual freezing rain though? Or was it miserably cold wet weather that made you feel freezing?

Edit: nevermind, someone else asked the same question.

The second one. People who just look at the Weather Data will never actually know how miserable the first three weeks of that month were. Damp, cold, humid, cloudy, just completely nasty

Thank god.... Anyway May of last did start off quite poorly but it did have an excellent finish though. I wish every March has a similar start and finish to May of 2016...

I didn't care for the finish either, instead of humid cold it was just humid heat lol. I did love the following June though. Above average and very low humidity the entire month, it was excellent. You couldn't wish for a better June

I agree. June 2016 was great. Highs were well above average, lows were below average and it was very dry. Most days were warm and sunny with a few cool days in the low 60s and some hot days in the 90s with dry heat. I would love if every June could be like that.

All everyone is focusing on is the beginning of 2015. Record (or near record) warm years such as 2012 or 2016 don't even exist. May 2015. December 2015. August 2016. February 2017. All record warm months. September 2015. November 2015. February 2016. March 2016. July 2016. September 2016. October 2016. November 2016. January 2017. All top 15 warmest month. All that versus what? February 2015. March 2015. April 2016. March 2017. And February 2015 was the only record cold month.

Try being in South FL, where pretty much the past six years have been above average, in an already hot climate. Now THAT sucks.

WWF? What does that stand for? It's not just 2015, it's 2014 too (which was a far worse year overall). By May 2015 everyone here was pretty much shellshocked from two record cold winters+record cold Marches+endless April cold waves

Warm weather fans I think. 2014 and early 2015 may have been bad, but shouldn't the end of 2015, 2016 and the start of 2017 balance that out?

In Rochester:
2014 had 7 below average months.
2015 had 4 below average months.
2016 had 1 below average month

That's 12 out of the last 36 months below average. 4 months in that period have been record warm, 1 has been record cold. 7 others have been top 15 warmest. 1 other has been top 15 coldest.

Seems like a clear warm trend to me...

Seriously, they're hung up over something that happened two or three years ago and ignore all the recent warmth makes no sense to me. It almost just seems like they're looking for a reason to complain.

WWF = Warm weather fans

And dude you're just proving my point more. Why do you keep mentioning 2014 or 2015 but ignore all the recent warmth? That's like 2-3 years ago now, you have to move on. Is it gonna be 2034 and you're still mentioning those years? Lol.
