After being on this thread for almost 3 1/2 years, one question has only recently come to mind: Are there more cold and snow lovers or vice versa on this thread, I have only recently wondered this myself

This forum skews to cold/snow lovers. I'm considered the odd man out for NOT liking cold or snow

Cold and snow haters will say snow lovers, snow lovers will say snow haters. We always notice more what we disagree with. Next.

There used to be more cold/snow lovers compared to cold/snow haters, but I think it's about even now.

I always thought there would be a lot more snow lovers, but the recent Climate Polls, like Syracuse vs Montevideo, and Portland vs A Coruna, have shown differently

My theory is more heat haters than snow lovers, they just don't want deep south/SE Asia type summers

When I started posting on the forum there certainly were at least as many snow/winter/4-season lovers as snow haters, but today the scales are definitely in the snow haters' favour. Many of the HC-coldies but also 4-season lovers have stopped posting and being replaced by "I want the weather to be as boring as possible" posters.

I've noticed some of that change too, but I think it was more cold/snow lovers biased in the past. I think it's about even or maybe 45/55 in the snow haters' favor now.
