Well finally I did one. My dream climate. The best climate in the world.

how to take a screen shot

Why is it the best climate?
  • Sunny, dry and cool
  • Has a long extended summer, with highs in the 60's for several months
  • Gets cold and snow in winter
  • Warms up quickly in spring which I like
  • Never gets too hot, a nice temperate climate

D+

It's definitely far from my ideal climate, which resembles something along the lines of that of Hakkari: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hakk%C3%A2ri#Climate

Wow, finally someone else who likes dryness on here. I guess my dream climate is no longer the driest.

Anyway, I give it a D.

I love the low rainfall and sunshine hours are a bit low, but still good. Winter is ok, but too stable. Summers are way way too cool. That's where it falls apart for me, there is just way too little warmth.

Interesting version of a Dsb climate.

61% / D-. Too dry and the summers suck.

B: It's a bit cold, dry and sunny, but it's very good the temperatures reminded me of Juneau

E; would've need three-four degrees warmer summers to get a D.

Boring and chilly most of the time, and doesn't even contain a real winter and snow cover for all its chilliness. Seeing E wasn't an option (never got why people do like that) I can't vote.

This place exist, apart from the sunhours, and slighly cooler Feb - April, sligthly warmer highs in summer. Precipitation 490 mm/year. It even has a seashore.
In the innermost part of the longest fjord in the world (apart from Greenland).

E-, just barely misses an F. Summer highs below room temperature, very little opportunity for warmth, and in general depressingly cool to cold year round. Seeing a freeze in mid-summer wouldn't be very fun, either; what's the growing season? Two weeks?

Weird how the record highs as early as March are warmer than the average July high; the slight chance of spring/summer warmth is indeed what saves it from being an outright fail.

It's very similar to Esquel, just slightly drier and sunnier, slightly colder in the winter and with less diurnal range.

It gets the same score I give Esquel: C.
