Nice little alpine village in Victoria. This is one of the few places on mainland Australia which regularly registers sub-zero highs. Record low isn't that impressive because of the heavy cloud cover in winter. I was once there in late spring (November)and experienced a high/low of -1°C/-7°C with heavy snow. Was a shock to the system after having experienced a high of close to 30°C in the valley the previous day.
I give it a B (for being Cool year round) Nice place to escape heat during heatwaves. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotham...Resort#Climate
Way too cold. Its "summers" are like our winters. But impressive for Australian standards, and a good find - I didn't realize that we had a place with subfreezing highs (even the coldest place in Australia, Mount Read, averages at 1C in its coldest month)!

There are a few places in VIC that does register regular sub-freezing highs, mainly due to the heavy cloud cover in our alpine villages. NSW resorts have colder lows but warmer highs compared to here.
No heat or warmth or really mild weather at all. Lots of rain and I assume little sun. As it's a mountain, the wind will make every day feel much colder. I'll stick with Perth thanks.
