Undoubtedly one of the best climates in the world in my opinion. Sea breeze, constant relative warmth, heat being rare, not overly sunny but not gloomy either, comfy nights year round...

Perhaps a bit muggy during summer nights and quite humid, but quite a bit calmer in that sense than coastal Canary Islands. Also quite wet in winter which keeps the place green!

A+ for me how about for you?

I'd love to have this as my winter retreat when older!

Looks like some kind of tropical climate. To warm for me, but interesting that it is not so wet for tropical climate. I give D.

It's a subtropical mediterranean climate with very warm winters, not quite tropical, its winters aren't warm enough for that (mean has to be above 18C in the coldest month)

B. Pretty nice, nice balmy summers with potential for heat and winters are lovely. Loses points for cloudiness. What are the thunderstorm stats like?

Nah... After trying those humid nights from July to September you find much more comfortable the nights in Lanzarote even if they're 2C warmer because they're dry

B-/C+ climate for me but not my cup of tea. Winters not warm enough for my likings, too rainy winters and some cool rain days like it happened this year.

Coastal Lanzarote is actually a bit more muggy in Summer compared to Funchal.
