İzmit is 36.1℃ at 36% humidity @3:52 pm.

It feels hot. I am sweating.

People who thinks izmit has normal summers but Muş has hot Summers don't know that while İzmit has humidity, Muş don't have humidity ( Low humidity).

I am sure people in Muş don't feel as hot as people in İzmit.

I'm surprised its even October there. lol.

Following your OBS's everyday I'm getting tired of shaking my head in disbelief. LOL Hard to imagine constant temps like that.

And yet it's been below normal for 9 days straight there. Seeing below normal with 100°+ max temps looks so fake. lolol

Of course. We can get the highest temps of the year even in late May at times. That's not what I'm saying though, on average August is the hottest month here, and you can definitely feel it. August usually has slightly higher temps, slightly higher dew points, and warmer nights than both June and July.

Amazing. July 25th and still in low 60s come lunchtime. Some local cool spots still in 50s around here! I'm at 61°F. #NoSun

So Boston didn't pass 65° yesterday July 24th. Not often that happens this time of year. Last time was in 2000. Normal max is 82°.

1. Plenty of time left! We see things switch past 2 weeks out easily so could be a hot Aug 15 to Sept 15 for all we know!

2. This summer has been a "breeze" for me. All I asked was for nothing sustained and we're getting it. Only 2 3 day heat waves here so far and the max only 93.7 back in June.

3. I agree, no heat sustained for us coming up. Might be some warm/hot days but ....

4. With these troughs digging down like this, forget the heat lasting and expect some dry cool days continuing

5. It wont feel like end of July/Beginning of August with whats coming.

6. Perfect time of year to get this pattern but I fear come September-October we gonna get torched. lol Figures. I'd rather have a hot summer if it means a nice normal/cool Fall. I hate warm Fall/Winters!

Wasn't that cold front supposed to stop in the northern Mid Atlantic?? It's not occluded yet. . Impressive! Probably will just deteriorate. I assume Marylands forecast is a bust because of this? Did they have upper 80s as the forecast?

Just wait till this weekend when another Canadian cold front pushes way south. Very interesting to see!
