I'm guessing because it's further south and closer to the coast?

The airport in La Paz averages 15C during the day, I feel bad for whoever the construction workers were

Mount Hermon: 2,814 m (9,232 ft)
Climate Table: 1,640 m (5,380 ft)

This one is interesting, it's in the Golan heights and has a climate similar to the PNW.

Mount Wellington is at 42'S. Mount Buller is at 37'S.

Whilst Mount Read is near Mount Wellington, it isn't dramatically warmer than the latter.

Neat there's a station there that high! Almost reached 0°C in March.

15,000 feet?? Wow! Very cool to have and automatically upload to a site with the OBS. Wonder how many times it gets checked on. I guess not needed if its returning good data. Is it solar powered? Is there a usual trail up there or do they need a helicopter to get there? lol

I've had many ideas actually happen and that's one of them I wish happens soon. More stations on mountain summits AND WEBCAMS!

Even though Weather services send balloons up for data, it would be nice to have data every hour from high up points for possibly better forecasts or reality.

Start today so we have a long history of data in the future like Mt Washington. And now we can use solar to power them up and feed them wirelessly as opposed to changing batteries.
