I wonder if we can actually have dreams from the dead? Just before I woke up, I had a flaskback from my aunt who died three years ago. She wouldn't look at me.

I was woken by the sound of ambulances which I don't think were there.

Exactly.

That's like saying "yes, yes, car crashes kill people, but guess what, sharks do too".

Totally unrelated and irrelevant to the discussion. And above all, a false equivalency. Whether we like it or not, Islamic extremist violence is on the rise, especially in Europe. This shouldn't be trivialized because, um, a dumb Christian redneck shot an atheist in Mississippi. Worst is when these buffoons bring up the KKK and the Crusades. Bloody amazing.

Some idiot on Facebook, after hearing that a van mowed down pedestrians on London Bridge, said "put this in perspective, think about the hundreds who die in car accidents every year".

Needless to say, the moron was savaged by angry responses.

Here is 24.7℃ at 11:32 am. It is early. The temperature will get higher. I miss winter even if we have too warm winters here.

No ****, you're up near the north pole like I am. I'm expecting a polar bear to walk past any moment now.

Perhaps you've moved a bit closer to the equator to Baie-Comeau's riviera at 49N?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baie-Comeau#Climate

That place makes Wrexham look like a subtropical paradise!
